Unbelievable! Here in Texas, it is LEGAL for any woman to to topless in public, at ANY time. Breasts are NOT considered part of one’s genitals. And besides, there is a state Equal Rights amendment, so if men can go topless, so can females.
Fer cryinoutloud. She could be ugly as sin but if she's wearing a padded bra underneath her t-shirt, that's just stupid to harass her. It's not like she was in a wet t-shirt with no bra. I mean, is it still the 1940s in Florida?
BTW can anyone tell me what difference there is between seeing a bra through a wet t-shirt and some of the clothing worn by many women these days? They all look like undergarments anyway, so they going to send all those women home as well?

No kidding...and what is the bathing suit supposed to do that the shirt and padded bra didn’t do? Add a little color? Sheesh! Those folks are idiots.

What I meant was it is OK to joke about “guilty” or “innocent” based on how attractive they are, IF we are talking about a “sex” offender (teacher, public servant, etc).
But it is a totally different issue when we are talking about a mother with her kids at a theme park who is hosed, and some idiot cop “arrests” her ?? It makes no sense.
There may be more than what is in the article, and the article may be written by a really dumb reporter. This was just covered on Fox News and they said she is bringing a lawsuit against the police for her arrest. I suspect she may win.

Do you want police to arrest, handcuff, and imprison your mom, daughters, or grandma, just because they don’t look white enought, or whatever color “looks American” these days?
When they start grabbing your young daughters, throw them into a police car, and toss them into a nasty jail, for simply looking like they might not be Native Americans, then welcome to Nazi Germany.

According to the article, the cops and the city refuse to tell the other side of the story.
Maybe most cops are honest and decent, but maybe this one is not.
If the cops had nothing to hide, they should be willing to tell their side of the story, but they aren't. Since the cops obviously have something to hide, they are guilty by default, and they deserve whatever civil and/or criminal charges are thrown at them.
Guilty until proven innocent -- isn't that your motto?
