The basic idea came from religion. I think what needs to be done is this. That good Americans need to now consciously plan to have large families, many children.
What is truly funny is the reaction of liberals/leftists to this notion. They are outraged!
It is beyond me why they should care whether other people choose to have numerous progeny, but they sure do.
