Due to our laws and the ‘dry feet’ provision granting political asylum almost ALL Cubans here in the USA are here legally. And they almost all learn to speak English as soon as they arrive. And as people who purposefully fled a Communist tyranny - they are mostly virulently anti-Communist and they (as you might expect) tend to vote Republican.

But by all means, insult them! Maybe you can change their voting pattern!

They are here “legally” because of Jimmeh Carter. Remember that idiot? Castro had the biggest laugh. Castro ENCOURAGED Cubans to LEAVE - oh, not just ANY Cuban. No, Castro was selective. Criminals and insane asylums and other social misfits were ALL released to come here. Castro had no use for them, so the U.S. got them.

Some may very well be against COmmunism but they are NOT against socialism. They see YOU have more and WANT it. Thye know they can VOTE for it. They’re not dumb.
