You can still buy guns and ammo, for now.

The positive is that the vast majority are as disillusioned as you. November is coming.

This is what is intended. They intend to exhaust you.

Stay focused on, at max, TWO issues. You can preserve your energy that way.

Stay strong and trust the Lord.

Missouri - with one of the most corrupted voting processes in America - soundly rejected Obamacare.

More people are waking up to the threat that is Islam.

Obama's approval is falling off the table.

The lights are still on and if we act we can keep it that way.

Thank you for all of your efforts. Positives I see would be that the public is opposed to much of what is being done by this administration. Examples would be support for the AZ immigration legislation and support for repeal of 0bamacare, among others. Please be assured that the efforts by you and the many like-minded are helping to spread the word, even considering the formidable opposition we face in the MSM and corrupt idealogies coming down the pike.

Texas and many other states are in revolt. The people are in revolt.

It is looking good for November.

Short term:

In November, Obama’s agenda stops.

Long term:

We gut the health care and financial reform. This will take time, but...it will happen.

Take a day and rest in the Lord. How long has it been since you have seriously taken a Sabbath? Keep it Holy by doing nothing. No work. No thoughts of work. No worries that you have to get things done. Just rest in the Lord. You will feel refreshed and can get on with what you need to do.

You are a believer. Just remind yourself of what happened in Matthew 28 when you start getting down.

First of all, if you are in it for the long haul, you will be able to handle setbacks more easily. If you are not, things can look very discouraging.

The ones I worry about on our side are the people who rush from a doomsday perspective to a “I have hope now because ____ is running for president” perspective.

America is great because we have a type of government with checks and balances.

Yes we need to be vigilant. But we also have to realize that the farther the pendulum is pushed to the left, the more momentum it has when it swings back our way.

And hopefully, we can time that swing for the first Tuesday in November!

Anyway, just my perspective.

FR is still alive and well. Sounds trivial but I have found reading posts and pings/mail from other like-minded individuals is somehow strengthening. Before FR, I thought I was one of only a few who thought the way I did. Maybe the saying, “There is strength in numbers” isn’t just a saying. Just a thought

Realize that we're winning. A sense of failure and hopelessness is normal for this stage in social movements.

We're all a bit burned out, but we need to stay engaged, stay positive, stay non-violent.

There are 8 stages to social movements. We're at stage 5.

Stage 5: Movement Identity Crisis — A Sense of Failure and Powerlessness

Movement: numbers down at demonstrations, less media coverage, long-range goals not met. Unrealistic hopes of quick success are unmet. Many activists despair, burn out, and drop out. “Negative rebel” and “naive citizen” activities gain prominence in movement.

Powerholders and media claim that movement has failed, discredit movement by highlighting and encouraging “negative rebel” activities, sometimes through agents provocateurs.

Public alienated by negative rebels. Risk of movement becoming a subcultural sect that is isolated and ineffective.

Movement goals of Stage 5:

There may not be any positives for a while...maybe a long time. Get used to it. Admittedly, I'm a pessimist these days, but I don't see anything getting better until first it gets much, much, much worse.
