WHY is their surprise?
When a person comes here ILLEGALLY, and I don't care what their SELFISH SOB STORY is, they willingly BREAK our LAWS and SHOW DISRESPECT in doing that. Now, ILLEGALS are in the OPEN, showing their DISRESPECT and HATRED of our LAWS and CULTURE.
To come here ILLGEALLY is totally SELFISH. Make no mistake about that. Other immigrants RESPECTED our LAWS and did NOT have events like this. They VALUED their LEGAL citizenship because they had to go through our process. ILLEGALS do NOT do that and come here for ALL THE WORNG REASONS. This is WHY, ILLEGALS must be sent BACK.
To expect an LLEGAL to LOVE our country is ridiculous. They have no reason to love our country and assimilate into our CULTURE. Jefferson was very adamantly against ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Yes, Thomas Jefferson wanted to preserve our Judeo Christian CULTURE and didn't want INCOMPATIBLE cultures coming here and DESTROYING our Judeo Christian CULTURE. Of course, they don't teach that in government schools and most other schools. So kids don't KNOW that. If Thomas Jefferson can see what it going on in our country, he'd be devastated and disgusted at how we are throwing away what made America great and prosperous.

The religion taught in government schools is atheistic godlessness. They aren’t about to teach about a competing religion.
Government schools will make an exception for Islam, though. An enemy of my enemy (in this case, Christianity) is my friend) .
