Thank you for your prayers. I will keep your family in mine. I’m glad to know you’re out there and willing to fight for our Republic, should it become necessary. Like Jim says, “Rebellion is brewing,” so I try to keep the faith, hold strong and pray to God that He bless us all.
I am enlisting in the Texas National Guard. I hope to be approved for full time status.
I realize this will be an issue if violence breaks out during my enlistment term, but honestly I can’t deny that the inevitable conflict is part of the reason I am enlisting. I want the training and experience. I want to serve my country. I want to HONESTLY be the kind of man who is able to defend my family and my country, and has earned the right to call others to carpet.
And I want to know that I did everything I could, even if I didn’t always get things right.
