Fellow Mad Men fans: ever want to drink where Don and Roger drink? How'd you like to spend the night in the hotel where Sal almost "got bizzay" with that oily bellhop? Now you can. The site linked above lists almost all of the actual, real-world locations where the producers of AMC's Mad Men film the show's bar and restaurant scenes. Most of the places are in the Los Angeles area, but have that New York look and feel. (The Belvedere Hotel, Don and Sal's home away from home in 3/1, is still in Baltimore, Maryland.)

I have actually been to a couple of these places (I have had Manny Aguirre's drinks at Musso and Frank's, for example) and in my experience they are worth a visit.

This site, although a bit amateurish in layout, is a treasure-trove of information and interesting lore. You can spend hours going through all the pages. Definitely an office time-killer!

I think the pertinent question is...where does Joan want to drink? Because that’s where I want to drink. And no, I don’t particularly want to stay where Sal almost “got bizzay” with that oily bellhop. Although the jokes about that situation pretty much write themselves.
