“J. Edgar Hoover, the FBI chief, and his longtime companion, Clyde Tolson, were an ambiguously gay crime-fighting duo. Inseparable for 44 years, 1928-1972, the two top G-men vacationed together, often dressed similarly and continue their cohabitation even after death. They’re buried alongside one another.”
Need I say more?

Yes: You can say they kept it to themselves, did not push their fag agenda on the public , and that no one had the balls to say what you just did while they were alive.

Personally, I don't give a rats a*s what J. Edgar did in his private life and I'm glad he didn't make a big deal out of it while he was alive. It just struck me as funny (ironic) that someone with the handle J. Edgar would criticize women for volunteering to appear scantily in a promotional calendar. I'm sure our J. Edgar on FR is a wonderful guy in reality and I shouldn't have mentioned this at all. Sorry J. Edgar.
