No, it's not. The Forrestal fire was not caused by a plane crash. Nor does McCain deserve any of the blame for the accident. You repeated a slander that's been floating around, probably started by libs.

I can read the first hand accounts and spoke with the son of an Airman that survived the ordeal. You are the one slandering. I honor mccain for his time being captured and tortured and for not taking the easy way out. There are POWs that were there with john and some of them paint an unflattering picture of him. I have no idea what happened but I know it was bad and I know he acted with honor in refusing release.

You make it sound like mccain had nothing to do with the fire on the Forestall... well one pair of eyes that were there saw it differently. Stories of some of those survivors are on the internet and are available if you search. I do not think John McCain caused that fire on purpose... but different actions on his part might have prevented it. The 5 crashed planes point to a less than stellar aviator. His attack upon the SBVFT was beyond the pale... he is not highly regarded amongst many in that group... 19 of which were awarded the MoH. He is a liar and a pos rino and a pro amnesty liberal... except for this election cycle... which he has done a 180 and paints himself as being to the right of Goldwater in his youth.
