Your watermelon opening graphic was adorable, Billie. And a cute song to go along.

I’m like you...I was craving watermelon all day. I buy those little plastic containers of cut-up watermelon in the produce department. Its always been good. Check your grocery store if you all can’t manage a big watermelon! We used to buy a whole watermelon when hubby was here. It was one of his favorite things! He had a lot of favorite foods....LOL!

I've bought the cut-up watermelon (and canteloup too) when I'm in a hurry and don't want to 'mess with' a whole watermelon - canteloup's aren't quite as big a chore, and we do love them, so I'll usually buy a whole one and cut it up and put in a plastic container, and we'll eat it every night until it's gone!

My hubby went to a customer's house the other day and came home with two huge sacks of fresh vegetables (I just don't garden but won't refuse other's offerings!) One customer gave us TWO HUGE WATERMELONS AND FOUR CANTELOUPS one day! They were so sweet and delicious, but no way could the two of handle all that at once, so we kept one watermelon and two canteloups and gave some friends the others.
