I gasped when I saw Margaret Truman. Her dress is very much like mine except mine had full length sleeves with the point extending down my hand and the neckline was a “Sabrina” boat extending shoulder to shoulder. Looks very simple and modest compared to what the girls are buying now. But, it was appropriate for a morning wedding and appropriate for the time too. Nobody went into debt for weddings then like they do now.
