perdogg is someone who actually contributes to the football discussion. Been around for years.
WHO ARE YOU?
perdogg, I did notice you have a lot of losses predicted for every team.
When the Steelers went 15-1 and took the Super Bowl the only thing that kept them from beating the Ravens was the clock ran out. And I was hoping the clock would tick faster.
That’s when Big Ben replaced Tommy Maddox, I thought game over, was I wrong.
Well I think this is Lovie Smith’s last season as a coach for the Bears, but I think they will do well. Also I think that the Jaguars will be moving to Los Angeles after 2010...
Interesting choices.
I was going to say there is no way Dallas wins 12, but then I thought about the rest of their division. They might.
Bold pick with Indy only winning 10. That would be the first time in years they haven’t won 12 games. I’m not sure that streak is over yet. I wonder if this is the year Houston finally breaks out.
I think Oakland might win 8 games. They were stout on defense and they have a legitimate running game. Without Russell dragging them down they might manage some offense.
I think the Falcons may upset New Orleans (yes, I’m a homer). They played them close both games last year and I think the Super Bowl hangover will cause some problems in the Big Easy.
I hate Jerry Jones!
Tampa Bay will never win 6 games. Maybe 2 or 3...maybe.
I don't know if New Orleans has a dynasty going, but from what I saw last year they were no fluke. They clobbered the crap out of a lot of cracker-jack teams.
San Diego had the easy 'Strength of Schedule' last year.
I think Coach Shanahan and McNabb will help them tremendously.
Also, the Vikings will have a better season than the Packers; with or without Farve.
Interesting. I think people are talking about the Falcons maybe winning the division because they get an easier schedule. ALso, I can see the Bengals going 12-4 or 11-5 or if they have a drama queen meltdown they could be a disaster.
He's got great situational awareness, and I think he's going to develop into one of the finest QBs in the game over his career.
Just someone who has had (4) premium Denver Bronco season tickets since 1977. Have attended regular NFL season games in at least six different stadiums across America (in addition to Invesco Field @ Mile high) over the years. At least 10 Giant games at the Meadowlands in NJ.
This is the ping list from last year’s NFL picks. I don’t want to create ulcers for anyone, soooo, I’ll ping you a couple of times but will stop if you don’t make any picks. Except for Cleveland, Big Ol, Bender2 and KevinDavis. You guys were the first of the bunch, so you get pinged and you’re stuck on the list forever.
You were looking at Ochocinco when you said that.
President Ford used the veto 66 times during his short 2.5 years in the White House. President Bush only vetoed 12 items in 8 full years. Sure wish Bush had been a little more like Ford.
I think that we’ll have a much better read on the Aints by week 4, to be sure.
Can they go all the way again? I’m not sure about that.
I do believe that the Boyz could do better than Romo, though.
‘a drama queen meltdown’
Heh, I wouldn’t be surprised if Vegas already has the odds on that one.
Perilous? I’d call it braindead
Part of the reason that he got sacked as much as he did was (besides the porous O-line) was that rather than throw the ball away or risk a pick, he would keep it longer than his protection would allow....not a good thing.
He’s another year older and I think that he’s maturing just like he should.
I do believe that this season is going to be a ton of fun for PACKER Nation.
Dallas 12-4. Bwhahahahahaha!!!!!!
Come make your picks, MG
