Also woke up during a colonoscopy and still can't fully talk about that one!

Strange, that happened to me at my dentist's office. All I remember was someone yelling "Hold still!"

I was coming out of a chemically-induced coma after complications following my last triple bypass. I was in terrible pain, and I heard accented English voices behind me. I thought I was being tortured by foreign devils before they sent me down to hell. I was terrified. After a few moments, it penetrated my foggy consciousness that the “foreign devils” were a couple of Filipino male nurses who were trying to pull the tubes out of my throat. They were astonished when my first words were in Tagalog. This took place in Delray Beach, FL.

I’d be reluctant to let my dentist do any more colonoscopies on me in the future.
