Departing for Yellowstone on Saturday. Kinda glad my wife talked me into staying in the lodges. Camping is fun, but sharing a tent with a bear doesn't sound so good.

Can’t wait to hear the “experts” with their standard line of BS. “The bear didn’t mean to kill and eat anyone. Bears don’t do that. This is all just a misunderstanding.” LOL!

While camping in a tent in Yellowstone, I felt a very large animal walk by the tent, felt the ground shake a bit. There were buffalo in camp that day. We always figured it was a buffalo and not a bear. That is some wild place!

Just take a S&W model 29 with you when camping. When the bear bites on the end of the barrel, pull the trigger.

"False!"

This story gave me a serious chill. I remember reading about the same thing happening in nearly the same place in the late ‘60’s. Ruined camping for me that year. Even though was camping in Toledo, OH.
