Winn Dixie has old stores in my area. Fridges frost up and ruin boxes. It is a quick drive to a Target, a Wal-Mart, and 3 different Publix stores, all with groceries. An Albertson’s in the area just closed. I don’t know how Winn Dixie survives the competition and economy.

For people familiar with Winn Dixie, blaming the economy isn't going to work.

You could open a brand new winn-dixie and it would smell like it was dirty as hell the first hour that it was open. Their cleaning chemicals have ALWAYS been the worst not to mention the bugs in their cereal boxes.

They even had to strip their title of the Beef People years ago because their beef was below USDA standards.
