I get emails from an anti-Omama, anti-DemRat site called GrassTopsUSA run by Chris Carmouche. After a rant against Washington, it asks me to fax the bad guys in D.C. for a cost. I do agree with the opinions, but wonder if I'm just sending money to an outfit that takes money, but has no real impact on what's going on.
Any info on this site? Are there better ways to let Washington know we are fed up? Thanks in advance.
Call your Congressional reps in their DC offices regularly to let them know how you feel on issues. They do keep track of phone calls.
Call Congress Office both in DC and locally. Actually has way more effect then mass spam sites
I wouldn’t pay them as you can do it yourself for free
Another site asking me for $ is the American Conservative Union. They say sign a PETITION TO CONGRESS on an issue, but also ask for a donation. Are they good or shady?
Your money can be better used by the Heritage Foundation. They’re legit, influential, and doing truly groundbreaking work. You can call your reps on your own.

You have the answer to your question by reviewing the facts of Congressional legislation. Despite all of the pushback Congress got from the voters/taxpayers, did they pass zero's DeathCare?? Despite the number of people opposed, did they pass Porkulus??
How much influence do you think ANY of us have against this agenda-crazed regime??
I receive dozens of these e-mails from “conservative” groups every day. They all ask for money. I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of people are making a lot of money off our frustrations. Numbers USA is the only one who faxes messages to targeted congress persons. They don’t charge for them, so I occasionally send them a small donation.
