I dont have link but per ESPN this morning Albert Pujols has come out against the Arizona Immigration Bill.
Sad Cardinal Fan this morning.
Glad my braves have kept out of this. But IMO...you shouldn’t give up on your team due to the opinion of one player.
I wonder if he’s read it.
"Said Pujols Monday: "I'm opposed to it. How are you going to tell me that, me being Hispanic, if you stop me and I don't have my ID, you're going to arrest me? That can't be.''"
Thank you - I didnt realize he said it on July 13!! Thought he just came out with it. Apparently a large demonstration was in front of Wrigley Field last night during the Card/Cub game and ESPN was commenting on that.
His statement is so stupid and so upsetting. He is a HUGE player in MLB and he needs to keep quiet about this, regardless of stance. Im quite sure I am not the only one upset about his words.
Guess what, Albert? It's not.
Jets QB Mark Sanchez was smart when he was asked about the Arizona law. He said, “I’m just a football player. What I say doesn’t matter.”
Supposedly, he is a fan of Glenn Beck — Glenn needs to get on the horn and give this man an earful, as apparently Pujols has missed the several episodes of the TV show where Glenn discusses this whole issue.
Hey,Machine, you should only worry about being caught on the
PEDs that you’ve been taking!
Of course Pujols should just avoid doing anything that makes it appear that he's just committed a crime, and he won't be questioned anyway.
