I have a pre-gov’t motors Avalanche. I can understand some folks not liking its looks. But that “too short” back end end still holds a stack of 4’x8’ plywood between the wheel wells (with the back seat down).

Pretty much like my old man’s station wagon. I love it.

That, and where was AMC’s ‘74 Matador, it was the ugliest car ever made, and by the same company that made the rightfully recognized as ugly Gremlin and Pacer.
