Reports on the internet say that AMD is planning to release a new pair of processors which will take the top high-end spot in their line of Athlon II X4 quad-core processors. The upcoming chips, dubbed the 640 and 645 will feature clockspeeds in excess of 3.0GHz.
Newegg has no 645...which is interesting.
Gamers won't be happy with them ...is what I hear.
Daughter is running a 630 ...with Windows 7 for Internet and hooks into educational site and is happy with it.
I checked the local ads on that WD 1.5 gig HD at $68. and it is a reconditioned drive.
