"I can think of no grander way to celebrate these animals than for them to be cherished by the lucky owners. .....The animals used to bottle The End Of History all died of natural causes - better to be celebrated and valued than left to rot."-- Co-founder James Watt of BrewDogFile under Great Gift Ideas.
There should be a beer or ale aptly to celebrate our ever-popular
Politicians in Washington or Notable Media Pundits.

“Using shock tactics to get attention is terribly out of date, especially when this involves exploiting or degrading animals. “
Sort of like PETA degrading women using the shock value of models nude in public?
Fascinating process to get to 55% EtOH. It’s still beer if it’s not distilled.

I’m looking forward to when they do one with a gerbil and call it “ARMAGEDDON!!!” Ale.

The way I understand it: Beer can't get to more than about 10% alcohol just by fermentation, because all of the available sugars are consumed by the alcohol producing yeast, and they die.
Wine can't get to more than about 20% alcohol just by fermentation because the yeast produce so much alcohol trying to process all of the sugars that they poison themselves to death.
So to be 55% alcohol, this stuff must be distilled or something. Can it still be called ale?
