Italian newspaper La Repubblica said: Octopus gets it right again but his real name is Paolo. Italian opposition MP Andrea Sarubbi said: I have just read the shocking news that the famous predicting octopus Paul is not English as was believed but in fact from Italy.
I have written to the director of the German Sea Life centre and asked that he be repatriated as soon as possible because never has our country ever needed someone to make clear and decisive judgements such as now.

If there were a chemical pumped into the air which made people as crazy as soccer does, it would be outlawed.

Argentina is a disgusting kleptocracy of thugs and scum. I am glad they lost. Maradonna is a real symbol and a shining example of Argentina.
I liked the Italian approach claiming Paul is actually Italian. LOL!

Interesting.
Looks like a late night infomercial. Turn down the volume and buy the blender in the end.

AN Argentine TV presenter furious with Paul the 'psychic' World Cup octopus has horrified viewers by liquidising one of his relatives live on air. I don't think the critter was "live."

Soccer is growing in popularity in the US. But, then again, so are a lot of other third-world behaviors.

Silly story. This octopus was not slain on the air. It was as dead as a fish stick. (I thought our TV shows are dumb... if this is representative of Argentinean TV, the average American show looks like a Mensa meeting in comparison).
