Yes. It will land at a secure base in the rear, on a pad guarded by heavily armed MPs and contractors with black ski masks. The fuel will come through a pipeline (similarly guarded), or in a convoy of trucks (accompanied by helicopters and AFVs.) There it will be refueled, re-armed, and will take off again to "do unto others". And by "others", I mean "the Free Republic Liberation Army", or whatever.

Food for thought...under this scenario there are no "rear" areas, no safe areas, no where to set up secure areas. I realize the navy never taught you the principles of ground combat, but the sad fact is when you make it hard for people to get to you, it makes it harder for you to get out. And tracers work both ways.
