Never understood having to make a seperate stop just for liquor.

In Pennsylvania if you want just a six-pack you have to into a bar. Or you can buy an entire case at the state store.

Much better to get it from the isle of the local supermarket when doing other shopping or even the corner convenience store.

The grocery stores in Virginia already can sell beer and wine. The ABC stores are where you have to go for “hard” liquor, spirits, etc.
