Hey newbie! Back in ‘99 or so. Another newbie posted with a news story. I do not think any freeper remembers the story but they do remember the comment to the story. It went like this:
This is hugh. I’m series.
The thread took off and, IIRC, garnered more than a 1000 replies - not by the news story, but because of the comment. Since then, freepers, ahem, seasoned freepers throw part or all of this line out. And now you know.
