And do you know the "bar" calculations for those other phones? Because Apple's already admitted they screwed up their own bar calculation - how do you know the others are right, or don't have a different definition of good or bad signal?
And is your standard for Apple now "hey they can screw up as bad as Blackberry"? If so, why spend so much money on an equivalently-bad phone?
Of course Apple's going to spin as they best can (and many of their numbers were of the format "we're only 3 worse, we're only 7 different" without any frame of reference - meaning, the numbers were meaningless).
Go to someone neutral, like Consumer Reports, and note that they state Apple's answer is unacceptable...
So I guess you can believe Steve "you're holding it wrong" Jobs on his 2nd 3rd 4th 5th different answer, or you can look to someone without a dog in the fight like Consumer Reports who states "sorry, you still haven't fixed the problem".
Fandom will, of course, influence your selection...;)
