The premise of this blog is wrong. Beck is right.
He is saying is that this so-called “social justice” gospel attempts to turn over our personal responsibility for good works to the collective, i.e. the government.
It’s a socialist/Marxist ploy to twist scripture.
Jesus spoke often of our responsibility to take care of each other, to help our fellow man. But he was NEVER talking to government. He was talking to individuals, preaching individual responsibility.
This article is socialist propaganda.
“But he was NEVER talking to government. He was talking to individuals, preaching individual responsibility.”
Sir, you are dead on right! These commies will feign anything and anybody to discredit those speaking out for truth!
Class envy and theft are both against the 10 commandments.
Nope. He was speaking to his people as a group. God has always been about redeeming a people, not a bunch of isolated individuals.
Ephesians 3:10 "His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms"
Jesus did not say “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's (pay your taxes), and he will render unto the Lord on your behalf (government social policy as a proxy for Christian charity).”
‘Caesar’ will do what ‘Caesar’ thinks is important.
We must do what our Lord Jesus the Christ thinks is important.
