One hundred thousand faithful Americans are telling Glenn Beck that enough is enough. This summer as Beck travels the United States solo and with Bill O'Reilly, Faithful America--a multi-faith justice organization--has rallied its members to push back against Beck's anti-Christian-social-justice message. When Beck makes stops in South Carolina, New York, New Jersey, and Washington D.C., the group's provocative new ad will follow his trail and challenge his words as piecemeal gospel on local Christian radio stations.....
When the million dollar marxists who insist that I'm not paying enough taxes START giving their money to charities (REAL foundations, nothing they set themselves on the board of as tax dodges), then they may have a place from which to speak.
Being described as a faith-based group would seem to imply that religion is probably not part of it. The “faith” is political, not religious.
The other night my kids and I read the bible scriptures which call on Christians to combat global warming.
It’s in the book of Gore.
Really, no, but he is tacky and strange.
.
These folks don’t even seem to claim to be Christian, just faithful, which suggests a question- faithful to what?
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!!!!
The parent organization is Faith in Public Life (FPL)
Co-founded by Jim Wallis of Sojourners
Was originally established to counter the religious right
Founded in 2006, Faith in Public Life (FPL) is a tax-exempt charity which was originally launched to strengthen the progressive evangelical movement....
FPLs sister organization is Faithful America... FPL also has a close relationship with John Podesta's Center for American Progress (CAP) - funded in part by George Soros.
Stupidest. Attempt. At. Character. Assassination. Ever.
That *ominous warning* ad was ridiculous, I was laughing with Glenn and Pat too! The shaky intonation of fake outrage, I think the worst part was lumping Glenn in with "our leaders" -- since when is a guy who does radio and/or TV commentary a "leader"?
(Well, unless you're a mind-dulled lefty who can't think on your own, okay, maybe they've got a point there).
Once again, the ties to the White House.
They share a floor with "America Votes" and "America Coming Together", both lefty front groups. This appears to be a lefty front group masquerading as a Christian group.
They should probably be on Al Jezeera.
I have no idea who these clowns are.
Not a Beck fan but, definitely not a “social justice” fan even more.
Is The Human Fund (”Money for People”) also headquartered there?
Looks like you got some ASTROTURF
What a bunch of dumbasses.
What a lilly-livered headline. Faith based group? That’s politician-talk. How about a more descriptive appelation? Christian Socialist Group, perhaps?
“justice organization...???”
They mean “social justice.” Which means...well, whatever you think of when you normally hear the word justice, this is the opposite.
They have me convinced. I no longer look to Christ for salvation, instead I am supposed to rely on societal, collective salvation. Yeppers.....
“This appears to be a lefty front group masquerading as a Christian group”
Knock me over with a wet noodle.
