LOL... in college one of my buddies signed me up for this “romance novel” type of book club. Hundreds of books later I finally convinced them to stop sending them, as I wouldn’t be paying for them.
One mailing list that simply amazes me is Cabelas. It’s like every week there’s a couple of huge catalogs... and then a few times a year they send their MONSTER hard-bound master catalog... it MUST cost a fortune to do all that.
Have you seen what they charge for stuff? That’s why. I never buy anything from them, it’s waaaaay too expensive.
