I can’t imagine staying with someone after the first time he behaves that way. So not having any first hand experience with any people who live like this I guess it’s hard for me to imagine any woman acting so calm as if this is normal.

I don't understand how she can stay either. However, men that act this way always seem to find women that will put up with it. My brother-in-law was married before for only 6 weeks, because that woman would not take his crap. He told me that she punched him in the face 12 hours after they got married. I told him that I didn't know what took her so long.
