After listening to the tape I'd say that he is bi-polar or has some kind of other very serious mental issue. He did not sound drunk.

Gibson is obviously very smart at his craft. But it appears he is not too swift when it comes to women and he is certainly not too bright for using the telephone for this kind of thing. I'd predict that there is a lot more to follow. This gal knew what she was doing.

I almost feel sorry for Gibson but if he hit her that does it for me. As if it matters what I think or anyone else thinks,. He isn;t coming over for tea any time soon and with all his cash he can do a Polanski and live anywhere on the planet he wants.

Mel reminds me of Bobby Fischer, brilliant mind for some things, but the elevator doesn’t go to the top floor, and his world view is pretty bizarre.

That is a full on narcissistic rage. If he’s not a malignant narcissist, he’s doing the best imitation of one I’ve ever heard. He deserves an academy award, if it’s an act.
