But to those who are criticizing this woman for releasing this tape, I would argue that Nicole Brown Simpson may well be alive today if she had released any similar tapes.
I do not know if it is true, but one report stated that those tapes were made six months ago. If true, releasing them would be for reasons other than protection.

She let slip in court that she had made them. The judge issued a restraining order that she was NOT to release them. And why then make them public? For the purpose of humiliation. An article already said the police have copies. And she has now violated a restraining order.

Melodrama. These tapes were made in January. She has since gone to Russia with him. What woman that's fearful does that? AND calmly makes tapes and DOESN'T call the police for 6 months? AND offers to sell them to him?
