Mel Gibson, under investigation for domestic violence, admits to hitting Oksana Grigorieva and TWICE threatens to kill her in an explosive new audio tape obtained and released exclusively by RadarOnline.com.
The enraged actor tells the mother of his eight-month old daughter Lucia “you deserved it” after she says that he hit her and broke her teeth.

If it’s shown releasing the tapes could potentially harm his career (particularly after a court order not to do so) Gibson would have grounds to sue her for damages.
The only money she has is his. ;-)
First you said he saw her shake the baby and was afraid for the baby’s safety.
I said, then why doesn’t child protective services take the baby if she is in danger?
Then you said, why would Gibson turn her in if he get the baby half the time?

That’s not logical. If you think your child is in danger you’re not going to let her stay in danger so you can keep her half the time. That makes no sense. What about the other half of the time?
It's also not considered good form to advocate or to make light of spousal abuse.
I know that women can be just as viscous as men. And I don't tolerate it. I expect good *people* to hold everyone to a certain standard, HG.

And how would you expect me to know why? I gave you an opinion. Gibson has said repeatedly that he doesn't want to fight this in the press. She keeps going to the press. He doesn't. Or didn't. His lawyers are fighting back now. No one has made a statement about CPS.

According to sources connected with Mel, on January 6, 2010, Mel and Oksana were arguing at home when Oksana took baby Lucia, ran around the backyard, threw herself on the ground, came back inside the house and began shaking Lucia like a ragdoll. Mel followed and the sources acknowledge there was physical contact, but insist Mel did not punch her and was just trying to protect the baby.
Why yes I would say you are weak on logic. But that my be making things personal so I’ll not pursue that.
Right. She’s all ticked-off over the paltry 10K per month and willing to defame in releasing private, surreptitious tapes for the purpose of extortion. Gibson has a good chance of counter-suing for damages and if nothing else having her honor the visitation agreement. He will claim the drunken ramblings were a sign of emotional distress caused by her not honoring visitation rights which will strengthen his suit against her.
She’s probably not going to get more money out of all this and will have to pay her attorney fees from her 10K monthly. She is also possibly facing criminal charges for unlawful recordings and violation of a prior restraining order against releasing the tapes.
Heck, she’ll really be poor paying all her attorneys fees and may even agree to relinquish custody in a buy out. She’s a hooker so the money is her goal. She over-played her hand. She’ll take the buyout.
I agree with you. There's always two sides to the story. What most of us were upset by were the men saying that she deserved to be hit and to have her life threatened.
The arguments that she is a gold digger, etc. I can listen to and calculate. The people that are alright with physical abuse and death threats need to get a grip.
Well she does have Timothy Daltons son to care for too. I think he's about 10. However she has overplayed it. Articles claim the judge is annoyed with her attorney for leaving out information when they got a restraining order against Gibson. And it's the same judge that told her to zip it.
OK, then why wasn't any of that on the tapes? She repeated brought up the fact that he hit her with the baby in her arms. His only reply? "You deserved it." All of the things he was ranting about, his grievances, were about loss of affection. Her saying, "your mean," and not being appreciative enough of everything that he's done for her.
No. I don't buy it. If he had hit her in defense of his child he would've brought that up in the fight.
A rational person might have. An angry emotional one? Maybe. When people argue they are usually being petulant and angry.
His only reply? "You deserved it."
That may be why he thought she deserved it. Remember she knew she was being recorded. He had no idea that he had to explain to strangers what happened before she turned on the recorder. She was playing to a future audience. He was speaking only to her and she KNEW what had happened. Why explain it to the person that was present?
I will give one point on this: we haven't heard all of the tapes. I do find it suspicious that only part of the conversation was released. Perhaps she was implicated later.

She won't release anything that implicates her and Gibsons attorneys have filed against her for violating the judges restraining order. I doubt there will be more tapes.

Your lack of education doesn’t translate to others being a Black Panther. If that were true, your level of education would have, by now, created millions of Black Panthers.
Go deal with Russian women for 1 month. Then come back and disprove what half the world has discovered — that Russian women are worse than worms. Although they’re not “equal to” worms.
