A further “reason” - the swiss could not determine whether Polanski had already served his sentence ...

Obama and Holder’s payback to Switzerland for their agreement to turn over the UBS account holder names to the IRS. The fix was in.

I’m sure People Magazine or the TMZ may want this as front page news, but this is primarily a political site and we save breaking for news of consequence, not another idiot celebrity criminal.

Why would Obama and Holder care about Polansky?

Obama needed the Swiss government to change the law to allow the release of the UBS shareholder names to the IRS. This was a face-saving agreement for the Swiss.

Since Barak Obama achieved the presidency.

Right. And how many fugitives did the CIA collect under prior administrations?

Since when does the CIA have jurisdiction over state criminal matters? This wouldn’t be a job for the CIA under any administration.

Of course its not a job under any administration. But do you understand who Obama is? He is a fascist. Leon Panetta is his gopher. Yjat battle was fought in the first few months of the Obama Junta seizing power. The CIA does what Obama tells it, regardless of what it should or should not do.You will see as time goes on.
