I could handle living there.
I literally had one of the best days of my life there. The owner of the little villa apartment we rented took us out on his boat to show us the islands around the main island of Hvar. A little boat, nothing special.
We drove around a bit, then we stopped at another island and spent some time on the beach, then we went to another island where his friend had a restaurant out of his summer home. We ate a four hour long meal of a lifetime. Everything was grown or handmade. Fresh fish caught that morning, fresh vegetables and herbs grown on the property and carafe after carafe of homemade wine from their vineyard. It was pure heaven.
