Taking the family to NYC next weekend and the wife is a total foodie. She wants to know the best pizza in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Help.
Pretty much. There are almost as many food related shows on the Travel Channel as on the Food Network Channel. Travel seems to have taken a back seat.
The only show I've watched with any regularity is "Man vs. Food" for the laughs. But that's become boring and same ol'. And most of of those hosts on the Food Network Channel (Like Ray and Giadas) prepare meals with stuff I can only dream of out here in the boonies. Then there's Paula Deen, who became so giddy over Obama, I stopped watching forever. The guy, Guy, is another one I'll pass on, along with Alton Brown. Ugh.
Longroom nyc is an Irish bar and restaurant has a nice
reasonably priced menu.No pizza, but they have Leffe blonde on tap. Stay away from John’s Pizza on 44th-a tourist trap.
Great place for burgers-5 Napkin burger.
Cheapin out? }:~)
100% agree.
Two Brothers Pizza!
I don’t know how to tell where it is but, I know how to walk to at least two of their locations.
Google it.
Quick, delicious and variety.
Yum
Oh, and I don’t care for Pizza but, something about theirs is delicious.
I think people who use a fork and a knife on Pizza are officious looking and complete sissified idiots.
They usually eat with their mouths open and smack their lips so hard, they end up also making some guttural sounds.
I leave the table around these geek freaks.
Fold your F-ing pizza! It’s finger food and it’s American.
Yeah, Where’s Samantha Brown? She is smoking hot, I love her laugh and eyes.
She also presents her articles very interestingly and loves to make fun of herself.
WHERE IS SAMANTHA!!!!!!??????????
He definetly doesn't try to be Julia Child.
Now that they lost Emeril, they're "trying" to make Bobby Flay the face of FN.
I about puked when they did the Iron Chef thing with an Iron Chef and "Super" Chef teams, and THEY JUST HAD to have the chef to the White Hut, with a special appearance from Sasquatch. Food Network is SOOOOoooooo leftist and elitist, they can't hide there bias. From Ina Garten, to the time they did The Next Food Network Star and it was OBVIOUS they were in the tank from the beginning for the 2 flamers to have a show.
By the way. WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE cut Sandra Lee off. She's had waaaaaayy too much to drink. And get her a bra that can hike the girls off her belly.
Thanks for the heads up, Black Agnes.
She seems like she might be a lot of fun to hang around.
Why not do what Lord Obama did...
He found a pizza that he liked, and then flew the pizza chef to Washington (presumably at taxpayer expense) with a quantity of dough and sauce, just to make him a pizza.
What could be better than that?
I don't like his glaring into the camera, and his sense of humor...isn't.

Yeah, My wife was watching a show of his about barbecuing recently. He had his patio/deck set up with all these grills, overlooking LA below, and grilling stuff with a guest chef that no back yard griller would do. I walked out of the room.
I like Ginos, but like Unos more. Giordanos once in awhile for a spinach stuffed. If I want a thin crust, nowhere else but White Cottage in Wood Dale
When I go to Michigan (Ludington) the only pizza I'll eat is Pizza Hut or maybe FORCE down Little Ceasars. Pizza outside the Chicago area shouldn't even be called pizza. Heck, they shouldn't call it pizza at Pizza Hut or Little Ceasars either.
Chicago pizza isn’t pizza, its a Chicago invention (another problem). It’s not bad if you like a super thick crust and then don’t mind feeling bloated and want to split your gut open an hour later.
My personal favorite, http://www.delorenzostomatopies.com/
That would be the original Uno, not the apparently now-defunct, national chain that gave Chicago deep-dish a bad name. I don’t care for deep-dish myself, but that old Uno in Chicago was more than just passing decent.
No...
they don't
Lombardis.
I like Dues better.
