It's tough for actresses to constantly be compared to what they were in their late teens and early twenties. It's particularly tough for the actresses that were dolls and then dropped off the radar screen. Everybody ages, some more gracefully than others.

The one I always felt sorry for was Sandra Dee. It must have been tough to be in your fifties and have everyone expecting to meet Gidget.
