I recognize that I’m in a minority, but I never did like the Beatles or their music.

Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band played "With a Little Help From My Friends" and were joined by a few extra notable faces, including Yoko Ono, Joe Walsh, Angus Young and Steven Van Zandt, to name a few.My goodness, all that talent! (Plus Yoko.)

Miss Piggy outclasses Yoko Ono. Yoko Ono is a real pig in my book.

Be still my heart. Oh, I’m so impressed. Excuse me while I swoon and maybe scream, you never know. Catch me, Slings.

A few years ago some magazine made a list of the worst 100 rock songs of all time. Two of them were McCartney’s. In the middle of the article was this little gem:
“One of the remaining Beetles wrote two of the worst songs ever and the other is Ringo.”

To quote Dennis Leary:
“What kind of country is this where John Lennon gets six bullets in the chest, and Yoko is standing right next to him, and not one f’ing bullet? Explain THAT to me.”

Actually, I wouldn’t mind hearing Joe Walsh and Angus Young trading riffs. Wouldn’t mind at all.

"Birthday" was preceded by another all-star collaboration, when Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band played "With a Little Help From My Friends" The old farts forgot to play "When I'm 64"
To: Slings and Arrows

Are you sure this is Alf Bicknell in the picture? Could be Mal Evans instead ... although both had the same build, Mal was very often photographed with the Beatles whereas as far as I know, Alf was not.
The picture above is from the set of the "HELP!" movie, which Mal Evans appeared in as the 'swimmer' who pokes up thru a hole in the ice after it had been blown open by a bomb (disguised as a 'curling' pot), so it makes sense that it would be Mal in this picture.
BTW - I met and hung out with Alf Bicknell several years ago at a BeatleFest convention, and he was one of the nicest guys, just a regular person without pretense. RIP Alf (and Mal)

I make no further claims as to the identity, I just googled “Beatles” and “Alf” and this came up with the “tag”.
