WASHINGTON - President Obama suggested Thursday that his Muslim middle name - Hussein - makes a lot of Israelis nervous about his commitment to the Jewish state.
When asked by an Israeli interviewer why many Israelis are "anxious about you," and "feel like you don't have a special connection to Israel," Obama said, "Some of it may just be the fact that my middle name is 'Hussein,' and that creates suspicion."
Obama told Israel's Channel 2 TV that apprehension about his name among Israelis could be eased if they checked the roster of his top aides.
"Ironically, I've got a chief of staff named Rahm Israel Emmanuel," Obama said, and "my top political adviser (David Axelrod) is somebody who is a descendant of Holocaust survivors."
Obama's favorability ratings have consistently come in below 50% in Israeli polls, and some have been below 20%. But that could change for the better after Obama's White House meetings this week with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu got a positive reception in Israel.

Anyone who believes that nonsense is a fool.
1) It's an insult to Israelis.
2) It makes the Israelis the cause of the problem, not him.
3) And yet, it makes it all about him.
So it feeds perfectly into his narcissism, his dislike of Israel, and his preoccupation with his Muslim roots.
Gee, maybe his statements and deeds since he was elected account for the Israeli fear more than his middle name.

Obama sees everything as PERSONAL.
The tension with Israel is because of Obama’s name, not because of his policies, is the conclusion Obama has reached.
He thinks of himself as being chosen to rule, not to govern within the constitutional system.
In Obama’s mind, people have no legitimate basis to challenge what he is doing. His opponents are racists and superstitious hicks and oppressors who cling to words in antiquated documents which have no relevance to the modern science of bringing statist control over the masses for their own good.

No. They’re “suspicious” of you because of the really condescending way in which you think people who don’t trust you are too shallow and stupid to look past something as trivial as your name and actually evaluate you based on your policies toward them!
Further, Mr. “Idiot-in-Chief”, they’re suspicious of you because bullsh*t statements like this not only reveal your utter lack of understanding about how the real world works, but demonstrate your narcissism in ways that most people don’t think could really be possible!
Statements like this reveal that it is - at heart - all really “about you” and that you can’t focus on anything or anyone else long enough to see how contemptuous of other people you really are.
“Pure evil in an empty suit” is why people detest and despise you, Mr. 0bama. It has nothing to do with something as vapid as your middle name except as that tells us about the Jew-hating, Christian-hating, white-hating, freedom-loving, capitalist-hating Marxist/Muslim background from which you came.

It would have to mean his parents and/or grandparents were Holocaust survivors. He is not a "descendant" of some distant European relative.
I haven't seen anything about Axelrod's family being Holocaust survivors.
I wonder if one has to present a social security number (validate who you are currently) in order to change your name. Wouldn’t that be interesting.
That’s a great point! Doing a Google search with the terms “david axelrod holocaust” yields references to a musician named David Axelrod and links back to the article referenced here. I don’t see anything that references the David Axelrod in the Obama White House being a descendant of Holocaust survivors. Probably just more story-making by the the Ministry of Truth.
Well, Israelis are mostly white. Ergo, they are evil.
The largest minority in Israel have names like “Hussein” and “Mohamed.” In this one simple statement, Hussein proves he is both racist and ignorant.
We sure can’t find out from the churche’s he attends, it equals to O, zip, none...in Chicabo, it is SAID he attended a babtist church....questions on this too.
Because no candidate dare spoke Obama's middle name without being in abject fear of incurring the wrath of the greatest propaganda machine the world has ever seen, the Mainstream Media. and it's fasciast political correctness speach police.
