Interesting...I know from my neck o' the woods CT and NY came close to blows about their border. As a matter of fact, to this day you can see a remnant of the old fight: driving north on I-684 while firmly in NY, you see a sign that says "Welcome to Greenwich, CT." A small point of CT juts into NY there and they love to remind the Empire Staters of that.

And BTW, History Channel is running a series on how the states established their borders...I've watched a bit of it and it's pretty good.

I've added Clemenza since I would think he would love this kinda stuff.

"How the States got their Shapes" is a fun book with all the interesting history of every little dot and tittle on each state border. My daughter got it for me last Christmas.
