I have spent at least half of the last 20 years nursing babies, in every possible location, and I have never had anyone object, make an impolite comment, tell me I should not, or anything else.
Our 3 children were adopted so breast feeding was not an option but I am always surprised when I hear that there are those out there who object to see a mother doing it.
I had the same experiences and I agree with you, Tax-chick. No one ever commented; really, no one ever even knew.
Me either. Not once did anyone complain, nary even an eye roll.
People who find breast feeding “wrong, impolite, disgusting, whatever” have the problem.
Ah, but were you discreet about it, open but not demonstrative about what you were doing, or did you make a big deal about it in a “look at what I’m doing” sort of way?
