My two cents...for in vehicle carry...the Judge rocks. Lots of firepower and flexibility of loads.
For me...on person, Kimber 45, nicest handgun I have ever fired. It truly feels like an extension of your arm. Crimson trace and you can shoot from the hip if you have to.
But for availability of ammo, etc...a Springfield 9mm is a great choice.
What IS the attraction with that thing? It's got a cylinder like a coke can, and both 45 long colt and 410 are superceded by modern equivalents or duplex ammo.
I just don't get it.
