LOUISIANA, Mo. (AP) -- Police are searching for a man suspected of taking a 4-year-old Missouri girl from her front yard in a small, quiet Mississippi River town.
Alisa Maier and her 5-year-old brother were playing in the yard of their Louisiana, Mo., home about 8 p.m. Monday night. The boy told police a man he didn't know pulled up in a four-door car and ordered his sister to get in....

This monster is pure evil and has no conscience and deserves to be tortured and executed as he is doing to this little girl.
That cretin who took that little girl is inflicting unimaginable perverted and painful tortures on that little girl. What I wouldn’t give to be transported to that place in time before this monster took her so that I could save her and beat that cretin to a pulp. Grandpa Says Missing Missouri Girl OK

Fenton, Mo. - The grandfather of a 4-year-old Missouri girl who was abducted from the yard of her home told NBC that she appears to be OK.
Alisa Maier was found safe, 70 miles from her home, more than 24 hours after she was taken.
Police say the car that may have been used in the abduction was seen around the car wash where the girl turned up.
Praise God she’s been found!

It doesn't happen often, but does happen... The odds of it happening twice is statistically insignificant - that's why a death penalty should be mandatory the second offense.

I know, understand we must keep an eye on our little ones constantly, but it just sickens me to death, the idea that your kids aren't safe in their own front yard.

Thought you mgiht like to know that according to local sources, she was checked out at Cardinal Glennon and that they do NOT think that she was physically assaulted. Her hair was cut off and she was dressed more like a boy, but that is all. Interestingly enough, her abductor released her at the same time the prayer vigil was ending.

When I heard the news on the radio that she had been found, I thought of this thread and a warm “Thank You God” came through my mind. I’m not sure why someone who had gone through all of the risk, trouble and changing her appearance would have let her go. What WONDERFUL and hard-to-believe (as in MIRACLE) news!
