This girl has been in my prayers for the last hour non stop.

My son was just telling me the other day about a man in the area he lives acting suspicious around small children and the neighborhood fear that he might be a child-predator. My son said they are being extra-vigilant and this incident reminded him that they need to be that vigilant all the time because creeps are out there all the time. Son was talking about adults watching children playing needing to go to the bathroom or something similiar and all it takes is seconds to snatch a child. I won't judge the adults unless there is information that they were indeed negligent because I am guilty of running to the bathroom or into the house to grab a ringing phone or similiar things. It should not happen but we do tend to let down our guard if nothing happens for a long period of time. One can only be so vigilant for so long before we do relax too much- human nature.
I would say death on the first conviction- someone who would do this tyoe of thing is not a person I would be willing to give a second chance to.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — The FBI is releasing more details this afternoon about the search for Alisa Maier — the 4-year old Louisiana , Mo girl abducted from her front yard Monday night, while her mother was inside fixing dinner.
FBI Agent Mike Kaste says it’s not clear whether the little girl was taken by a stranger or someone she knew.
“Right now what we’re looking at is an abduction,” Kaste said, “For me to stand here and tell you that she knew or did not know him, it just wouldn’t be appropriate, because right now we just don’t know.”
Kaste indicated that the family is not a focus of the investigation, but added that they will go “where ever the investigation leads them.” The town’s police chief, Richard Hughes, was asked about the marital status of the parents, and he remarked that it has “no bearing on the case.”
Anxious to find the girl, agents are asking for the public’s help from anyone who may have seen the vehicle, described as a black four-door passenger car with some front end damage.
My stomach sinks when I read this crap. My daughter is 2 and I panic at the thought of her lost when she runs away from me at wal-mart. I would be either in the ER if this happened to my child tonight or out on a witch hunt with 10 of my best friends armed to the teeth.
I thought this info sounded as though the clues could be turning the investigation toward relatives.

Praise Him for blessing this little girl to be found alive, and for answering the prayers of those who petitioned Him on the behalf of her, her family, and those who were searching for her.
May she have a successful recovery (mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually) from this horrific ordeal.
