This is another case of “Hollywood nurture”.

I think I see what you’re saying. And I’m going to have to disagree a little. A former employer, who employed me in his landscaping business, said to me:
“It was then that I realized that God enjoys beautiful things.” and later explained (paraphrasing) “the wild uncontrolled [growth of] nature is not beautaful; it needs a intelligent guidance (trimming, maintainance, pruning).”

Point is that nature is [more] beautiful when it is “tamed” like a garden/lawn/orchard but ugly in the uncontrolled wild. (And trust me it does get ugly.)
But, on the other hand, the sterile/over-controlled room/desk/city is just as ugly in its own way. (If you ever want to get something done, don’t talk to the guy with the immaculate desk but talk to the guy with the messy/semi-organized desk.) Like the Puritans who were so controlled/prudish as to take baths with their clothes on (because nakedness was disgraceful) the over-controlled is fighting against ‘nature’ in a way that is doomed to failure. {Either the species would die out because of no sexual intercourse, or the embraced ‘virtues’ would be broken in order to propagate the species. Note: God *NEVER* rescinded His command to the Human race to “be fruitful and multiply.”}
