I swear freepers are worst boaters ever, at least I have a believable excuse, a shark licked me and.swallowed my guns, several times even.

That’s ok, I knew you meant Remington because Winchester doesn’t make an 870 and the 870 is one of the most popular pumps made, for good reason: It is one of the very best.

There has been much talk on this thread about the willingness to pull the trigger. My father being a Detroit cop gave me advice only once on guns.....1 Never point a gun at anyone unless your willing to pull the trigger 2. Never pull the trigger unless your willing to kill someone.
If in danger or a member of my family is, I have no doubt that I would pull the trigger..

Head shot. That’s why you must practice. How do you practice headshots unless you can find practice heads trying to avoid being shot ;o)

I just got a pump 20 gauge is that OK? Damn straight it is. Now lay in a selection of different types of shells. I recommend a couple hundred #7's, a couple hundred 000 buck, and a few hundred slugs. Then get thee to a range and practice.
With that shotgun and sufficient practice you will be able to take down almost any game animal on the North American continent AND stop feral humans at distances from point blank to 150 yards.
You did well, madame. You did well.

One of my neighbors lost his guns to a Carp at Elephant Butte Lake exactly the same way!

Thanks for the shell recommendations. I have just made out my Christmas list for my sons. I am tired of the gift certificates...they will appreciate the request...A couple of years ago one on my daughter in laws bought me MRE for the local base. Laughed myself silly and she included a bottle of Pepsi...

PS The list if for them to buy me shells, not the other way around...I better lay off the bourbon for the night...

Thanks for the shell recommendations. You're very welcome. I'm pleased to be of service.
I am tired of the gift certificates...
Burn them in the sporting goods store or on the 'net.

History
In January 1980 gold was fixed at a record 850 USD an ounce while high inflation, strong oil prices , Soviet intervention in Afghanistan as well as the impact of the Iranian revolution prompted investors to heavily buy the metal.
Adjusting for inflation, meant the 1980 record high price was actually $2,079 an ounce at 2006 prices
January 1980. Gold hits record high at $850 per ounce. High inflation because of strong oil prices, Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and the impact of the Iranian revolution, which prompted investors to move into the metal.
In August 1999, gold fell to an all-time low at $251.70 on concerns about central banks reducing gold bullion reserves while, at the same time mining companies were selling gold in forward markets to protect against falling prices.
Screw gold, I invested in real estate for those 30 years.
