See #423. In the interview, Kaine and everyone was confused when the project was to be picked up. There was talk on other forums about Terri emailing the teacher asking when she should pick it up. Desiree stated in the interview that Terri emailed her that afternoon that she was emailing the teacher asking when to pick it up so Desiree could see it. It’s also unclear when she took it to school but Kaine and Desiree both agreed the truck was needed. Kaine wasn’t clear if she took it that morning or the day before. There was an oral or written presentation on Thursday and the diorama displays on Friday.

There’s been rumors that she was supposed to pick it up at 10:00. Excuse me, but raise you hand if you’ve ever gotten a request to pick anything up at school in the middle of the day. Parents work! They can’t drop everything to pick something up at 10 in the morning. That’s ridiculous. Many times, especially at this age, teachers like to leave projects up for a couple days so the kids can enjoy them longer. School was to be out the next Friday, so everything would soon be taken home anyway. One would think if there was a specific time that the school would have sent out a note to all the parents with that sort of info on it so there would not be this confusion and Desiree would be waving it in front of all the tv cameras.

I’m still wondering about the talent show. IF Kyron was supposed to be in it (and we don’t know if he was), the teacher would have asked Terri if he was going to be back from the doctor’s in time for the show and that would have verified which Friday the appoint was. Supposedly, Terri told her about the appointment in the auditorium so could that have been during practice for the talent show? Also, if the teacher told the volunteer he might have been in the restroom when the volunteer asked where he was, then why didn’t she check when he didn’t come back?
