I didn’t finish that paragraph. i.e. if she just abandoned him to wander around lost and disoriented (Sauvie Island) - when he is finally found: there will be no evidence of foul play. It will just look as if he ran away from school.
I never read those rumors early on, didn't realize that they existed. I think I recall that KAINE himself stated in a pc that Terri took their daughter to the science fair; however, any reports released to the public about the Terri at the school never mention the toddler daughter.
Also.... it occurs to me that maybe the reason I had no difficulty in figuring out Casey Anthony or Susan Smith or Misty Cummings is that very early in the case I heard them 'chatting' away with reporters or emoting hysterically at press conferences, and perhaps without ever having heard Terri Moulton Horman say ANYTHING, that I can't immediately instinctually tag her as GUILTY.
It is very interesting to me that local media in Portland reported yesterday that LE were looking for a specific family in the Skyline area -- that seems pretty peculiar.
I only remember one report that Kaine, Keira and Terri all went to meet Kyron’s school bus. Have not read who took care of her while Terri & Kyron went to school. Was Kaine at work or not?
Another observation: If Terri is capable of killing another human being - why would she hire a hit man to *off* her husband - (who, it seems, she hates more than Kyron)???
IMHO the crisis began with the birth of Keira, escalated with the removal of her bio teenager, then with additional marital stress - she seems to have wanted to totally dissolve the family unit. A crazy psychotic journey.
The drumbeat of *Kyron’s still alive* from LE and the family gives me hope that perhaps he is still alive.

The father of a missing 7-year-old Portland boy says he believes a third party was involved along with his estranged wife in the disappearance of the child six weeks ago.
In e-mail answers to questions Friday from Portland reporters, Kaine Horman gave no basis for his belief other than “briefings.”
The comments were the latest suggestions he’s offered about what might have happened to Kyron Horman, who vanished June 4.
Thanks, I had been wondering if LE had spoken with the teachers. Perhaps that's why the school didn't question that he didn't return to class.

So, why hasn’t an Amber Alert been issued?!? What exactly does the LE know and why do they keep claiming they have no reason not to believe he’s dead? No matter what game LE thinks Terri is playing an Amber Alert should have gone out immediately. It’s all very strange.
Apparently either Terri or witnesses claim she went to the grocery store. It would be interesting to know what she bought and if she gassed up. Hopefully, the LE gets video of all the neighborhood businesses. If I owned a business near the home and school, I’d be looking through them myself and beating the LE door down in hopes they’d see something. If they could pick up her car on a tape then they could track her movements with other video. It’s been six weeks already and some of those videos have been taped over.
It's frankly horrifying. The daughter looks maybe 4/5 months old, so the photo is over a year old; all four are in it.
It is very difficult to believe that this is a photograph of Terri Moulton Horman.
Just WHAT happened, and WHY the he|| hasn't there been LOTS of press about the idea that this woman should be seen by a medical doctor --- like immediately!! Just look at how she has radically changed in appearance in so very short a time period!

However, the local police did immediately involve the FBI who immediately sent in their specialized missing child team -- they've been in on the investigation ever since the get go, because Portland Police were deeply concerned that Kyron disappeared from an elementary school.
The LEOs already got surveillance tape from a couple stores which TMH allegedly went to that day, and recently they asked that anyone who has ANY video from June 4th on a large number of Portland highways & streets to please submit it to them.
I am uncertain of what to believe or to disbelieve about ANYTHING connected with the LEOs, as it is my understanding that LEOs are permitted to lie; therefore, accepting that anything the bio-parents Desiree & Kaine state about what they've been told by the investigators may not be productive.
I'm quite alarmed with the weird way that they conducted what should have been a serious sting op with the landscaper --- however, I'm not so sure that I believe that landscaper anyway.
Evidentally the LEOs have no evidence whatsoever that there ever was a MFH plot.

However, with the exception of VERY early comments, none of the teachers have spoken publically -- evidentally, they can't, or they'd be in violation of contract rules & regulations.
Some posters have surmised that there will be a massive lawsuit against the school for its lax security.
I had not seen that particular photo - but others showing her much more slim and attractive. Maybe she had been using steroids for another body-building effort.
This photo also shows her teenage son which, IMHO is an untold sub-text.
Agree with bgill - it is strange about NO AMBER ALERT!!! What do they know/suspect? Why not leak more hints to the media?
I'm bringing this long posting by "Rob" to your attention because he's been on the Natalee case for years and has also researched other missing people.
I am very struck that he also believes that there is something VERY strange about this entire case and something very peculiar about Kaine.
Sodpoodle, Amber Alerts are only issued when their is an eye witness account of a motor vehicle involved in the abduction of a child.
However, since the disappearance occured in an elementary school, the Portland Police Department immediately requested the assistance of the FBI, who sent in their crack missing child special investigation unit.

Thanks for the info. It isn’t being followed in my neck of the woods. The school shouldn’t have just assumed he left with Terri even if teachers saw them leaving. And what EXACTLY did they see? Terri walking with him toward the parking lot or down the sidewalk is not something where the school should assume she actually took him off the campus. That is VERY lax security which is very disconcerting.

Agree, the AMBER alert was missing a vehicle.
On Kaine’s weirdness. I think he has been manipulated by Terri since she walked into his life after Desiree left. He may have a good job etc., etc., but on an emotional level he seems passive and helpless. He is now leaning on lawyers and LE for instruction. JMHO;) You mention the lack of HIS family in this whole tragedy - which further illustrates how he has been living in that very small world where Terri seems to have been in charge.
I didn't see the article, but it purports to be about some time-stamped home video of the science fair where Kyron is seen around 9 am and there is an unidentified adult male with him.

Also, unbeknownst to me, somewhere online, for weeks, has been discussed with the bio-dad was active at an online swinger site and apparently there is lots of discussion about whether he is the same individual as a pic of some unidentified tranny.
Sodpoodle, you stated that this case would be a "Shocker!!" and now today there is chatter wondering if Kyron is being held for ransom, and that's why LE and the family seem to believe that he is alive.

I'm curious if the MFH was pure confabulation, but I'm unsure why they'd create such an elaborate story???
Several online posters have posited that it isn't necessarily uncommon for a rejected lover to make up a MFH plot -- but I'm entirely unfamiliar with this, so have no idea if they are accurate.... or if, perchance, this is just some type of subplot on soap operas???
There is simply something so very "off key" about many of the adults associated with this case, IMO.
Thinking *way out of the box*. When the landscaper declined the *hit* job on Kaine - maybe Terri approached someone else who took Kyron as a down-payment - just to test how serious she was (???) Then all hell broke loose.
Does not seem to be a family with money - life insurance would be the only source.
