Several teenagers and one adult relative of Mr. Blume-Pickle were in the house, according to police. Police do not believe the adult, who was not identified in the police report, made contact with the teenagers during the evening.
“At one point, the defendant was alone in one section of the house with the victim,” Tisbury police detective Mark Santon said. “The other teenagers had gone to get some food. He lifted the girl, carried her into a bedroom, and forced her on the bed.”
Police said they believe the teenagers in the house were drinking alcohol, but they don’t know yet whether the young people took advantage of alcohol in the house or whether they brought it to the house.
“We’re looking into the fact that alcohol is involved, and none of the people involved appear to be over 21,” Det. Santon said. “It’s being investigated.”
At the time of Mr. Blume-Pickle’s arrest, police executed a search warrant at the house and seized biological evidence, according to Det. Santon.
Mr. Santon said the victim reported the crime to her mother, who took her to the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital emergency room, when police were called, as the law requires.

Another couple do the same, say the hyphenated name is Jones-Bonaparte. They have a son named James.
Some time in the future Samantha marries James. Her name becomes Samantha Smith Washington Jones Bonaparte?
Gimme a break - where does it end? What the heck does their grandchildren names look like if such a departure from tradition continues.

This is the dirty little secret the Planned Parenthood world has long been aware of even if every parent and teacher hasn’t. As one writer on the RH Reality Check website put it: “When you can’t count on the government, schools, or dubiously funded clinics for medically accurate and comprehensive sex education, you can still count on Judy Blume.”

Most likely it is a show off thing. He would be just another nebbish kid with a rich grandma if he didnt brag with the hyphenated name that he is related to the famous author Judy Blume.
