Lots of folks really like the .357. I have a friend that thinks there is nothing better. One thing I got out of the video was that the .357, 38 special and .380 all use about the same bullet I believe.

I have about 5 each 451/2 bullet molds and like the fact that my cast bullets can be used for loading 45 ACP, 45 Colt and 454 so you could do the same if you get into reloading.

45 Long Colt rounds are about $2 each if you can find them. I can make the bullet and reload one for about 10 Cents for powder and primer. I like to use 185 gr. Nosler JHP bullets as well and these run about 12 cents each.

I also make up a few rounds using CCI shot shell capsules with #6 shot for snakes and etc.

Thanks for the tips on reloading. I knew the .38 was similar to the .357 round but that a .380 is as well was news to me since I always thought of it as a low penetration round.
