I hope he's prepared himself for the (*^&storm coming his way.
WhoRay - I only wish he where a Catholic Cardinal.
I’ve always been a Cards fan......

I was not a Cardinals fan......BUT I AM NOW!
How’s things going for you??
You can talk smack about certain things in this town, but the Cardinals are not one of them. Tony knows he has plenty of backup. Anyone who wants to make a stink about this had better think twice about taking on St. Louis Tea Partiers, and the thousands of patriotic Missourians who silently stand behind them.
God bless Tony LaRussa!
This is a bit surprising from the California-residing, vegetarian, with the liberal wife.
TLR has a bit of a rep as a flakey, Left Coast liberal among many St. Louisans.
Color this strident, life-long St. Louis Cardinals fan pleasantly surprised if not shocked,
Glenn Beck too? Wow!

Good on ya, Tony! One for the Good Guys.
“A. Pujols also presented with Beck with an autographed bat for his studio I wonder if Albert is a conservative......”

While he is very supportive of his native Dominican Republic, Albert and his wife are vigorous Christians and model Americans. They don’t do the hyphenated thing, or balkanize based on their minority status.
Based on the above and a few other observations, I’d say that yes, The Mon leans right.

It makes sense coming from LaRussa. He is one of the smartest head coaches in the history of baseball.
HOORAY Tony LaRussa! Tony LaRussa for President!
How many Illegals and Liberals buy season or even single game tickets for Cards’ games? That’s what I thought. The silent majority may finally be clearing its throat.
I heard someone say that Phil Jackson made a similar comment, although I haven’t seen the quote myself.
Play ball!
